Cali, Here we Come!
D and I have been planning our trip to California/Las Vegas. So far, we have planned to stay the night in the Sequoia National Forest, take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, and go whale watching in Monterrey. I am so excited! If anyone has any suggestions on good places to go or great things to see and do in Cali, let me know. I think we're going to drive down the scenic coastal highway, but I'm not sure what there is to see and do.

You can get a "grilled cheese" (everything on a bun 'cept for the meat), though it's pretty much the only place on the planet that would tempt me to throw my "vegetarianism" out the window...

oh man - there's so much to do! monterrey is just gorgeous - definitely check out the aquarium! DEFINITELY go to big sur and have a drink at nepenthe - http://www.nepenthebigsur.com/ - the view is UNBELIEVABLE. if you go to san francisco, the cliff house is wonderful, and the bar side is more fun and cheaper. if you go to my flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/57761119@N00/) , go to pages 14 and 15 to see the cliff house, in-n-out burgers, and santa cruz, another great place. HAVE FUN! i can't wait to hear more!
